- Since graduating in Textile and Surface Design in 2010 my practise has been based in a studio in the north east seaside town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea, England. Patternation is my own surface design business. Using my personal favourite techniques, 3D paper and hand cut-work mixed with digital technology, I aim to create beautifully patterned home and gift products ranging from wallpapers through to unique framed artworks and cards. For me inspiration comes from my favourite things, art and beautiful objects from jewellery to ceramics. The question, does surface pattern have to be flat, encourages me to explore exciting possibilities. I strive to create work which is unique and is one hundred percent my own.
